Job Description

You consult one of our customers onsite in the area of an international Application Management Service for all questions and problems in the topics of SAP FI and CO. You provide design and implementation of SAP
extensions and conversion projects in association with the respective Service Manager.
Following tasks of the "SAP FICO Regional Manager Japan" are required:
  • Analysis and correction of faults in the second- and third-level support for SAP applications
  • Productively employed, especially in the process environment, SAP FI and CO and in compliance with agreed customer service level agreements (ITIL based)
  • Advising client in the redesign or modification of their functional processes in large and complex SAP systems
  • Responsibility for the professional and technical feasibility, the quality of the conception, design, implementation and productive introduction
  • Expanding the range of consulting services offered within the Application Management Services
  • Managing SAP Service team and subcontractors
  • Communication, reading and writing in Japanese and English language
  • Develop customer relationship
  • Reporting to Global Service Management
Required Skills
  • Broad SAP expertise and founded SAP knowhow in one of the following modules: FI / CO (Financials and Controlling, esp.: CO – PC
  • At least 5 years experience in SAP application management service, SAP projects or experiences from a previous consulting
  • Hands-on experience: e.g. customizing, ABAP, debugging, documentation
  • Experience in a functional lead position
  • Creation of documentation within the service provision, e.g. functional specifications, impact analysis
  • Experience in working with offshore partners and in a virtual organization
  • Working in a complex environment
  • Excellent verbal and written English and Japanese language skills

We are seeking A Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in selling complex networking solutions to Service Providers

In this position you will play a key role in driving and leading new sales opportunities for IP Edge, Optical and Microwave in all-IP segment in Japan.
 
You will be a  key player in the IP market segment, building from the expertise of a global leader in Mobile Communication. You will develop new accounts and grow existing accounts, within the territory for IP and Broadband product and solution sales

You will also:

-With a consultative way of working, convert customer needs into business opportunities for the customer and for Company
-Build and maintain relations with all levels of the Customer organizations
-Maintain pipeline for all opportunities within territory, including forecasting
-Creating customer business cases for the relevant solutions
-Plan and Execute value based selling strategies
-Learn relevant solutions, architectures and full product line specifications and maintain knowledge of the complete PA IP and Broadband products and solution offerings
-Maintain knowledge of key competitor’s product line
-Facilitate resources as needed to close large opportunities

Qalification

-5 to 10 years experience in Account Management / Sales within the Service Provider



-Bachelors Degree is required, Technical Degree and/or MBA is considered a merit



-Complete understanding of internetworking (IP/MPLS), transmission, switching and service creation/provisioning



-Preferably Strong ability to engage with C-level and sub C-level at customers



-Strong background in Solutions/Consultative sales approach and process with ability to translate business needs to product solutions and expanding customer issue into business opportunities



-Strong understanding of the Network Service Provider marketplace (from a business and infrastructure perspective) including intimate knowledge of their business requirements



-Strong ability to work in a complex global environment, effectively building and sustaining relationships



-Strong team player who easily integrates in an existing team and with the ability to create the needed team to achieve the business objectives.



-Open, winning and go-getter attitude, organized and structured, an excellent listener and strong presentation skills are pre-requisites



-Articulates arguments or ideas in a compelling way.



-Proactive, self-motivating with a good grasp of the key business drivers



-Willing and available to travel frequently in the region



-Fluent in English and Japanese

Required Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience working in a fast paced environment is a must 
    • Advanced programming and debugging skills in Java, Linux, Network and database systems (eg., Oracle, Postgres SQL) are a must.
    • Strong scripting skills using Linux shell and Python is desired
    • Must be open to quickly learning additional tools, SDKs, libraries and programming languages as required to perform the job function
    • 3+ years experience in a customer support position is a must 
    • Strong technical reading and writing skills in English is a must
    • Strong oral technical communication skills in English is desired
    • Strong oral, reading and writing skills in Japanese is a must
    • Understanding of mobile phone industry and echo system is preferred
    • Experience working with network carriers is preferred
